Our homepage, as of 31 August 2026, says the system reads more than 12,000 company career pages every morning and scores each posting against your resume.

Both products read your resume. The resume is not the difference. What each one does after it has your resume is the difference.

What we can and cannot tell you

The foundit side of this page comes from foundit's own help and career advice pages, linked at the point of each claim. Where a page is old we have said so, because a 2023 page tells you what foundit documented in 2023 and nothing more. The QuratedAI side comes from our own product pages, which is a company describing its own software.

Three things we have not established. We do not know how foundit calculates the Skill Match Score on its job pages, because that method is not published anywhere we can find. We do not know how much the two job pools overlap, because nobody has run that test. And nothing here says either product gets you hired faster. We have no data on hiring outcomes for either one.

What happens after you upload your resume to foundit and QuratedAI?

foundit Help, read on 31 August 2026, says registration walks you through creating or uploading your first resume. The profile that comes out holds contact information, a photo, a professional overview, experience, education, skills, and domain expertise and job role. That same page says the profile is used to provide job offers and recommendations, and it recommends keeping a visible resume so employers can find you.

That last part tells you the shape of the product. foundit has an employer-facing side, and a findable resume is part of how it works.

On QuratedAI the resume fills a matching profile holding target roles, skills, location, experience, work mode and a salary floor, as set out in QuratedAI How it works. It carries no name, no email and no phone number. There is no recruiter side, so nobody is browsing you, which is the model described in QuratedAI Privacy.

How do foundit and QuratedAI put jobs in front of you?

foundit's search is built for people who want to steer, and it is properly built. foundit Help, read on 31 August 2026, documents that keywords are looked for in the job title, then the key skills asked for, then the whole description, in that order. Results sort by relevance by default. The same page shows that quotation marks hold a phrase together, and a minus sign drops a word, so Sales -FMCG returns sales roles without FMCG in them. Its advanced search documentation adds location, total experience and company type, which separates postings from corporates from postings placed by agencies and consultants.

QuratedAI has no search box for you to use. Collection happens first, across company career pages, job boards, regional aggregators and search. Everything collected is scored against your resume, deduplicated against what you have already seen, and a short list arrives by email in the morning, as described on our coverage page.

We are not saying the QuratedAI list holds better jobs, or jobs foundit does not. Neither claim has been tested. What differs is where the filtering happens.

How do foundit and QuratedAI score a job against you?

foundit job pages carry a Skill Match Score. On the pages we opened in August 2026 it sat behind a prompt to log in, and the interface presented it as a match against the skills attached to that job. We will not tell you how that number is produced, because foundit has not published it. Whether it reads your full resume or only your profile skills is unknown to us.

QuratedAI scores each posting against your resume and sends the reasons behind the score alongside the red flags. A red flag is the specific thing that would have wasted your evening. No mention of visa sponsorship. A night shift buried near the bottom of the description.

So foundit shows a score, and QuratedAI shows a score with the sentences it came from. Which is more accurate is a separate question. Neither company has published a test that answers it.

How do foundit and QuratedAI handle job alerts?

The foundit job alerts guide from 2023, read on 31 August 2026, describes naming an alert, attaching an email address, and choosing daily or weekly delivery. It puts the cap at five, and says alerts can be edited, paused or deleted. Check the current interface before relying on that number. We have not verified how jobs inside a foundit alert are ordered, so we are not going to guess.

QuratedAI has one delivery, every morning, to the email you signed up with. QuratedAI How it works says Telegram is optional and can be linked later or never. There is nothing to name and nothing to schedule. If the list is wrong you change the matching profile, not an alert.

Five configurable alerts against one automatic brief. Which of those sounds like relief depends on how much you enjoy configuring things.

Which platform fits which type of job seeker?

Read the first and last rows twice. If you are exploring rather than filtering, foundit is the better fit, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

"Can't I just use foundit's filters and alerts?"

Yes, largely.

Phrase matching, word exclusion, a documented order for how keywords are read, a split between corporate and agency postings, five alerts on daily or weekly delivery. A job seeker using all of that well is running a manual version of first-pass filtering.

The catch is that it runs only on the criteria you thought to enter. A filter matches the words you gave it. It cannot read the sentence halfway down the description that would have told you not to bother. Moving that reading into the matching system is what QuratedAI does differently. If you enjoy running the search and you have the evenings for it, foundit's tools already give you most of what a matching system would.

What we still need to test

• How foundit's Skill Match Score is calculated, and how much of the full resume it uses.
• How foundit orders the jobs inside a saved alert, and how it ranks recommendations.
• How much the two job pools overlap for the same resume and criteria, in one week.
• How often either product surfaces a role the other does not.

What the data says

foundit documents a keyword search reading title, key skills and full description in that order, sorted by relevance. It documents a profile built partly from an uploaded resume, and recommends keeping that resume visible to employers. Its 2023 guide documents up to five alerts on daily or weekly delivery. Its job pages display a Skill Match Score whose method is not published.

QuratedAI's documented model collects postings from company career pages, job boards, aggregators and search, scores them against the resume, and sends a short list carrying reasons and red flags. Its matching profile holds no name, no email and no phone number, and there is no recruiter side.

Coverage overlap, scoring accuracy and hiring outcomes are untested for both.

What we think it means

foundit is best understood as a broad job marketplace with search, filters, recommendations, alerts and an employer-facing side. The search is good and it has had a long time to get that way.

QuratedAI is best understood as a resume-led matching system built to cut the number of postings you read before you find one worth an evening.

They answer different halves of the same problem. If you cannot find enough roles, more search helps. If you are drowning in roles that were never going to work, more search makes it worse.

1. Open foundit's advanced search and run one query with a phrase in quotation marks and one excluded word. Ten minutes, and it tells you whether you like steering.
2. Count the postings you opened last week against the ones you actually applied to. If the gap is wide, your problem is filtering rather than finding.
